S. S. Engineers has designed and commissioned a unique sugar plant having four mills of 22” x 47” size each driven by 300 BHP A.C. motors at Saikrupa Sakhar Karkhana Ltd. (Saikrupa Sugar Factory), Devdaithan, India. The factory, with this innovative design feature has already achieved a crush rate of 2100 TCD. The power consumption of complete plant including mill and fiberizer electric drives at 2200 TCD rate is 2000 KW, which is a unique feature. The steam consumption is only 44% on sugarcane. The quality of sugar produced is 50-90 ICUMSA. This Sugar Cane Plant signifies highly cost effective technology with high performance being introduced to the Sugar Industry, for others to follow.

After the registration with N.C.D.C. and National Federation of Co. Op. Sugar Factories Ltd., two years back, we undertook turn-key projects and completed some projects, in a record period of 8 months. They have been such a phenomenal success that the sugar industry has bestowed us with orders for 10 Nos. turn-key sugar plants of different capacities ranging from 1250 TCD to 2500 TCD.

S. S. Engineers has already commissioned Seven Nos. Sugar Plants and Three such Plants are under execution.

In the crushing season 2002-2003 alone S. S. Engineers has commissioned Five Complete Sugar Plants, which is a great achievement by all standards. Two Nos. Sugar Plants are with Co-Generation.
